My Strides For Action Fundraising Page
I’m thrilled to be participating in the 2023 Strides For Action! On October 1, 2023, I am joining with over 2,000 others at Carson Beach in South Boston to celebrate the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS, honor those we've lost, and to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community.
The money we raise goes to support the essential programs and services of Fenway Health, a community health center which seeks to optimize the health and well-being for LGBTQIA+ communities and those living with HIV. Through leading edge research, education and training, and an aggressive policy agenda, they envision is a world in which health equity is achieved for these communities and the HIV epidemic is history.
With our help, Fenway Health can continue to explore novel approaches to improving the health of LGBTQIA+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS, to expand their visibility and influence as a leader in HIV research, sexual health and healthcare for LGBTQIA+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS, and can transform health systems and social services for communities across the US and beyond.

The Strides For Action started in 1986 as "From All Walks of Life" at Boston Pride. "From All Walks of Life" was the first fundraising walk for AIDS Action and later transitioned into AIDS Walk Boston. Since its inception, the Strides For Action has raised over $40M! Thank you for being part of this legacy and of a future with no new HIV infections.
