Ways to Participate
Participate as an Individual walker, runner, or volunteer!

Individual Walkers and Fun Runners are encouraged to choose an LGBTQIA+ cause that matters most to you. Through Strides for Action, you’ll be able to share your story and express your passion for the cause that moves you. We’ll provide all the tips and tools you need to raise more than you can imagine. You’ll have a great time leading up to the walk sharing the story and during the walk you’ll join thousands of other who are committed to health equity.
Participate as a team

Gather your work colleagues, your friends, your teammates, or your organization and create a team for Strides for Action. Each team picks a cause they want to support. (Hint: Some teams create a team A and Team B to fundraise for two causes) You’ll have a great time raising money and sharing stories in the weeks and months leading up to the event. And then on the day the whole team can celebrate your impact while you walk, ride and celebrate LGBTQIA+ wellness.
Are you a part of a Community Organization?
Join the Wellness Festival. Community organizations who participate in the wellness festival will have access to thousands of LGBTQIA+ wellness advocates. Bring and activity as well as information to capture the attention of all the participants. Participants are bound to arrive early, and stay late so they can visit every activity, and enjoy the stage show!
