About Strides For Action

Balloons and Signage for the Old Walk Registration site

Strides for Action is Fenway Health’s annual peer-to-peer fundraising event, bringing together community members to raise critical funds for health equity, advocacy, and essential care. Building on the legacy of the AIDS Walk Boston, which for decades mobilized thousands in the fight against HIV/AIDS, Strides for Action continues this tradition of activism while expanding its focus to address broader public health challenges, including LGBTQIA+ health, racial justice, and access to affirming care.

As a key initiative of Fenway Health, Strides for Action directly supports programs that ensure everyone—regardless of income, identity, or background—has access to high-quality, compassionate healthcare. By participating, donors and walkers power lifesaving services, groundbreaking research, and policy advocacy that advance health justice. Together, we are taking strides toward a future where health care is a right, not a privilege.
